Can you use thromboguards hastily after vena cava filter insertion?

By "thomboguards" I am assuming that you mean anticoagulants. Usually vena cava filter (sometimes known as Greenfield filters) are used contained by patients who are at risk for pulmonary embolus (i.e. they have a weighty venous thrombosis) where anticoagulation is contraindicated. Therefore, contained by most cases the answer is no. Vena cava filters are not usually used surrounded by patients who can be anticoagulated (treatment of choice for a thrombosis).
