Last I heard, the national average for General Surgery for example be approx. $250,000/year. Family Practice around $100,000/year. Plastic Surgery can pay alot. But this also depends on the compass of practice, where you practice (private vs. public hospital) the type practice (group, etc.), malpractice insurance, and other compensation.
