Can theophylline offer a false positive contained by a urine experiment for meth?

Our lab uses ER STAT kits for drug trialling and it can't cause a false positive on that apparatus. I doubt that it would on any drug testing as they are not a related substance.
Nope.
elisa tests- no course to show positive for meth
It very economically likely may depend on the examination used and the particular formulation of theophylline product used.
If you be a government worker contained by the United States they(your employer) are required by federal law to use enormously specific tests, that include Chromatography followed by Mass Spectra and IR spectra.
You should not allow a cheap chemical assessment be the final word in conducting tests, since a higher and more definitive standard exists, to do so favors one group( governing body workers) over the rest of the population, and the answer is not to be unfair to adjectives by dropping the government worker standard.
There are some over the counter Theophylline products that contain a small amount of phenobarbital, which is controlled but does really zilch in vocabulary of drug abuse (or therapy) but can donate a postive for controlled substances (Phenobarbital) for a long, long time.
