Cold sores are deeply unpleasant, and most treatments on the market (like Abreva) recommend that you use them at the first sign of the sore, not when it's full-blown. I would not recommend covering it contained by foundation or concealer, because you could infect it by putting those chemicals on it. I'm gonna suggest Car-Mex (camphor) and try some ibuprofen (Advil) as it is a anti-inflammatory. Good Luck
