A blood clot is a mesh of fibres and cell captured by those fibre that forms in blood.
A blood clot is formed to prevent the loss of excess blood from a wound.(haemostasis is the controlled term of this process)Blood clotting occur by 2 mechanisms,intrinsic and extrinsic.A blot clot is formed by the formation of fibrin threads.
